Dr. Patti Farrell graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree with an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology. She then continued her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and graduated with Honours. In addition, Dr. Farrell was an active member of Students’ Council at CMCC where she held the title of Athletic Director for two years.
Dr. Farrell grew up in Etobicoke, Ontario where she was heavily involved in the community, mainly with athletics with a large concentration on Basketball. Chiropractic care helped her immensely throughout her athletic journey, both on and off the court, which she hopes to do for her patients as well. It was a combination of the help she received from chiropractic care combined with her love of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics and her passion for helping others that drove her to pursue a career in chiropractic.
Dr. Farrell currently holds a certification in Active Release Technique, as well as Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Her patient-specific and patient-centered treatment plans incorporate a variety of techniques including manual adjusting and mobilizations, ART, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, as well as active rehabilitation programs. She also has a special interest in concussion management. She believes in an evidence-based approach in order to help patients achieve their optimal health, function, and well-being using chiropractic and multidisciplinary care. Dr. Farrell has had experience treating a wide variety of populations and conditions and hopes to continue expanding this knowledge in order to provide patients with the best possible care they can receive to help them accomplish their short and long-term goals.
Patti is extremely excited to join the team at Elite Physio and is looking forward to providing chiropractic care to her patients to help them attain all of their short and long-term goals!
